The congress will take place at the historic location of the Faculty of Medicine, in Kynsey Road, Colombo 8 and in the adjoining National Hospital of Sri Lanka, Colombo, the second largest hospital in the world.


The  venue is close to the National Museum, the colonial building of Colombo Municipality, the National Art Gallery, the Independence Square, and several historic sites.

There are several large malls and shops in the vicinity: ‘Odel’, ‘Paradise Road’, ‘Colombo City Centre’, ‘Barefoot’, ‘One Galle Face’, ‘House of Fashion’, ‘Arcade’ in Independence Square,  ‘Marino Mall’. For traditional souvenirs visit ‘Laksala’, ‘Lakpahana’, Lakmedura’.

The Dutch Hospital Shopping Precinct in Colombo Fort offers exotic and tasty meals. The Park Street Mews and Colombo City Centre are about 1 km away and have a range of menus to stimulate any type of taste bud! Close to the venue, Odel offers a reasonable mix of food.
